We made it.
Today is Day 31 of 31 Days of Striving for Progress over Perfection. Thank you for joining me for the past 31 days!!
I am so thankful for the opportunity to write this series. It has helped me better understand what it means to strive for progress over perfection in my daily life as a mama and I hope the same is true for you, too. Here at the end of these 31 days, I hope you are encouraged.
As a mama, I feel like that's all I do from day to day. Start again by doing the laundry, by making meals, by changing diapers - start again by tackling the task at hand. Ultimately, I want to start again by choosing to love.
We are never done. Every day, we start again by taking one small step after another and we begin to make progress in the right direction.
It is so tempting to procrastinate and wish away what we are supposed to be doing. However, after many years, I found that only leaves me burned out, frustrated and resentful toward my husband and children.
By tackling the task at hand and focusing on how I can make progress in areas of my life, I have experienced greater freedom, peace and order in my life. That is my hope for you at the end of this 31 day series.
I'd love for you to read back over any of the 31 Days of Striving for Progress over Perfection that you missed or want to process again. I'll continue to reference these subjects in the future, too.
Again, thank you so much for joining me for my first-ever 31 day series. I am so grateful you are here.
