The past couple weeks have been busy for our family and this weekend was filled with potty training and a couple celebrations. Weeks that end with weekends like this one typically leave me feeling anxious about Monday morning. As a reminder for myself and for anyone else who it may need hope, here are three things we can do on Sunday evening that will make Monday morning feel less jarring.
Know what you're making for dinner this week. If you're behind on meal planning, before you go to bed on Sunday night, at least know what you're making for dinner on Monday. Waking up on a Monday morning with a plan for dinner that night is so much better than waking up already stressing because you have no idea what's for dinner.
Review your schedule for the week. It is so helpful for me to take a look at what is coming up for the week and I also use that time to add any "to-do" items for any of the days that come to mind. Do you ever lay down to go to sleep and all of a sudden, all of the things you have to do that week start running through your mind? By taking time on Sunday night to run through your schedule and jot down your to-do list, falling asleep should be more peaceful!
Speaking of falling asleep. Go to bed early! Or on time. Or just don't stay up late. Any time I stay up too late on a Sunday night, I always regret it on Monday morning. Starting the week off tired and crabby is the worst.
Extra - if you do laundry on Mondays, sort your laundry the night before so it's ready to go first thing in the morning.
Here's to a great week!
